Data Characteristics in a distributed environment

Requirements in a Distributed Environment

Distributed processes must ensure data consistency and SAP System failures may not have an impact on data consistency. Data consistency requires that all systems can be recovered to the correct point in time and consistent system copies of the whole environment must be possible.
