SAP Business Blueprint

SAP Business Blueprint phase includes a number of activities, events, milestones and deliverables as described in ASAP (Accelerated SAP) and maps generally classified as having an overall project management importance. The Business Plan is the output of the project design tasks as they are handled in the appropriate tools – SAP Solution Manager and ARIS Business Architect for SAP NetWeaver – the process and design company.

The tools support a architecture focuses on implementation through a tight integration of the solution (SAP) and Business Solution Architect (ARIS). An SAP Business Blueprint is derived through an iterative process of defining business processes and technical requirements for a specific project, using the SAP Solution Manager and ARIS Business Architect for SAP NetWeaver. The Business Plan also refers to the content of the solution and business process architecture repository. Phase begins after the preparation of projects on the SAP implementation life cycle and ends before the configuration phase. Thus, it is important to Note that nothing can be built during the Business Blueprint phase. The plan (ie, cases completed Blueprint) is a fully configured SAP solution, including all interfaces and security requirements.

SAP Solution Manager is essential for the creation of a Business Plan. Three key elements are needed to create a project on the Solution Manager. They are an organization unit, Master Data and business scenarios. These three elements are defined in the definition of the Blueprinting phase which forms as a basis to precisely align the ERP SAP enterprise business processes.
